September 3rd the Merc With the Mouth returns to the monthly scene over at Marvel, and throws his hat into the secret invasion ring.
The series will start with a run by writer Daniel Way and artist Paco Medina. I'm not sure how I feel about that considering they're the two behind that last Wolverine: Origins arc that left Deadpool looking like a two-bit chump.
The series is going to open with a Secret Invasion tie-in, and I'm fairly psyched to see what comes out of that. I'm also going to be interested to see what side he's working for - meaning, which side is paying more.
Deadpool is Deadpool, though, and, September 3rd, we get our first monthly dose.
I wonder if he'll be breaking the fourth wall again?
